Don Cornelius the iconic face and voice of Soul Train is dead at 75. It seems the news is more tragic because it looks as if he took his own life by gun shot.
I grew up on Soul Train so this is so surreal on so many levels.
The other question I have is how do you get to be 75 years old and then take your own life?
That is like waiting to the last few feet of a race and deciding to drop out. You are 75 years old just wait around for a minute and nature would take it's course.
We mourn this iconic figure and his contribution to music, television and popular culture. RIP soul man!
