Michael Phelps could be in deep trouble

The Olympian who is used to swimming in deep water could be in deep trouble. 

Michael Phelps with his multiple  gold medals could be one of the most successful Olympians but that will not protect him from backlash for recent photos that appeared on websites. 

Phelps is sitting in a bathtub and although we are accustomed to seeing him in very little that is not why he could be in trouble.   

According to the International Olympic Committee's rule, Olympic athletes are not allowed to represent any other sponsors that are not official sponsor for the Olmpics from July 18 to Aug. 15.

Photos of Phelps  taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitza appeared recently as part of a Louis Vuitton campaign that was not to premiere until August 16th.

The Olmpic Committee is no joke about this sponsor blackout period.  An athlete found not in compliance could face anything from a fine or even stripping of medals. 

Don't take the mans bling!

Whatever Louis Vuitton was paying I know it is not worth all of that.   Louis Vuitton and Phelps camp deny leaking the images. Of course they do...lol.

The ad also includes Phelps in a suit. 

Who knew he could get into so much trouble with all his clothes on...lol.
