Mint Museum Queen Charlotte Promo Video

Ken Aptekar's "Charlotte's Charlotte" will be a permanent exhibit within the contemporary galleries of the Mint Museum Uptown.

The Mint Museum and the Digital Filmmaking and Video Production program at The Art Institute of Charlotte partnered to create a promotional video that is part of the permanent exhibit.   The video was Produced by Charles Easley, Directed and Edited by Rusty Sheridan and Visual Effects by Lea Anderson. 

BET Documentary: The Naked Truth, The Lessons Continue

The Naked Truth: The Lessons Continue was a special program produced as part of "Rap-It_Up", a public education partnership of BET and the Kaiser Family Foundation.
BET's award-winning HIV/AIDS documentary series Naked Truth examines how attitudes around sexuality and sexual identity affect the sexual health of African Americans, in particular, the rise of HIV infection. 

The Naked Truth: The Lessons Continue was a collaboration through the Cable in the Classroom series in which Topics Education Group, Emulsionarts and BET were partners.  The production was outsourced to Emulsionarts.  The spot was Written by Charles Easley and Bruce Nofsinger. Produced by Jenny Beacham. Charles Easley also served as Editor.

Women of Dune: SyFy Channel

Sci Fi Channel takes a look at the feminine aspects of Dune in the TV special "Women of Dune."  The various families and the matriarical power structure is explored in this story.  "Women of Dune" aired on March 10, 2003 several days before Children of Dune.

This was a collaboration through the Cable in the Classroom series in which Topics Education Group, Emulsionarts and the Sci Fi Channel were partners.  The production was outsourced to Emulsionarts.  The spot was Directed and Produced by Heidi Dove, Written by Bruce Nofsinger and Charles Easley served as Creative Consultant. 

The XChange features Oscar Michaeux

This was a package developed under the creative direction of Associate Professor Lea Anderson. I am featured as talent. Lea Anderson designed and created the visual effects that make this such a thrilling promo.

This was done as a tribute and part of the Black History program created by The Xchange. Great work guys!

This video highlights the Digital Filmmaking and Video Production program.  The video was produced in partnership with DFVP faculty and students.  Special shout out to Mr. Rusty Sheridan and Ms. Lea Anderson for visual effects.   

The XChange: Season 6 Episode 5

The Xchange was an initiative I first introduced to The Art Institute of Charlotte's Web Design students who were primarily interested in digital production. I wanted to bring a similar experience that my students enjoyed while I taught at Clark-Atlanta University and Barber-Scotia College. 

The Xchange is a cross between Talk Soup and The Daily Show. The show is now housed in DFVP (Digital Filmmaking and Video Production Program) and produced in the DFP 210 Studio Production class.

This is from Season 6 with Matt and Touacha as host.  This episode features stories on Perpetual Vision, the film festival, a student dancer Mike Teezy and my personal favorite late night munchies with Milanio...lol.    

The show has grown and developed under the expert creative direction and leadership of Associate Professor Lea Anderson.

The Xchange was an initiative I first introduced to The Art Institute of Charlotte's Web Design students who were primarily interested in digital production. I wanted to bring a similar experience that my students enjoyed while I taught at Clark-Atlanta University and Barber-Scotia College. 

The Xchange is a cross between Talk Soup and The Daily Show. The show is now housed in DFVP (Digital Filmmaking and Video Production Program) and produced in the DFP 210 Studio Production class.

This is one of the first episodes featuring some of our first DFVP Matt Sakatos and Jeremy Garcia students.  It is amazing that they will be graduating soon, they look like they are 12 years old here....lol.    The show has grown and developed under the expert creative direction and leadership of Associate Professor Lea Anderson.
