Comedian Katt Williams has constantly been in the news because of a recent series of bizarre incidents and arrest. We have not seen this type of public meltdown since "Two and a Half Men's" star Charlie Sheen.
Katt seems to be just as tired of getting in trouble as we are about hearing about it. He released a recent statement during an interview with Seattle's KOMO News.
"I'm just gonna go ahead and announce my retirement from stand-up, I'm kinda done," Williams told KOMO. "I've discussed it with my kids, I wasn't gonna do in the middle of a Seattle street, I was going to go to Los Angeles and do it in the offices of ICM or LiveNation."
Katt's family and his crew hope to stay on a Washington State Ferry until he has to appear for an upcoming court date soon.
The comedian has decided to take to the water after being booted out of several hotels due to suspected drug use and other ratchet behavior.
Katt has had a series of run ins with the law. It started with his meltdown during a Oakland performance, a three-wheel police chase, bar fights and the now infamous pimp slap of a Target employee.
It almost sounds like he is acting out a skit from his famous stand up routine "Pimp Chronicles."
Kat Williams is the father of eight kids so he has to constantly get his hustle on. I hope for he and his family's sake that he finds peace, rehab or Jesus because he is wearing himself out.
